Issue #186 :: The “I’m doing it right” Edition :: 8:29:2018

I’m doing it right…

There’s a pretty good chance that if you’re going to Burning Man, you’re probably already there. Therefore, I will share my playa gift virtually with you.

So, “You’re doing it wrong!” is a popular saying in the Burning Man community. I decided to flip it to make it a more validating one with “I’m doing it right!” My friend Jenny (who hasn’t been to the event since 1994!) and I will be taking them to the playa to award worthy Burners.

Now, if you’re wondering about that Burning Man logo and how I can use it when “decommodification” is one of their 10 Principles, I’ll tell you. Anyone can use the logo as long as it’s for something that’s gifted, not sold. Check it.

Ok, this is a short issue because my bags to Black Rock City ain’t gonna pack themselves!

(Psst.. Wanna see some cool shots of this year’s city?)

P.S. I’m out next week and, depending on my recovery time, the week after that. See ya in September!
