Issue #054 :: The “Bleat it loud” Edition :: 10:14:2015

Bleat it loud…

I’m a black sheep and proud! More on THAT in a future issue.

But now, Cardhouse.com:

Cardhouse.com is a weblog that has been around since 1994, which we can all agree is a long time ago in Internet terms. In fact, it was a “blog” before we started calling sites that. It’s run by one of my favorite artists in all the world, a humble gentleman who I consider my greatest muse. Miraculously he has stayed anonymous online after all these years, yet has worked closely on some of the coolest art projects in the SF Bay Area. I would tell you which ones, but then I’d have to kill you. You’ll just have to trust me. 🙂

Why am I telling you about his site now? Well, he’s recently given it a retro-chic makeover. He’ll hate that I called it “retro-chic,” but go take a look anyway.

Rusty Blazenhoff

p.s. Block out some time and take a look at this on Cardhouse.com. It’s the most definitive write-up of Nonchalance (aka Jejune).

HEY YOU
If YOU would like to co-curate an issue of Rusty’s Electric Dreams, I’d love to hear your idea! Please email merusty@blazenhoff.com.

Know about a cool event? Share it. I’ll do my best to include it in the next issue.

“I like weird people. The black sheep. The eight balls. The left-of-centers. The wallflowers. The bizarros. The loners. The rejects. The outcasts. The outsiders. The odd ducks. The eccentric. The broken. The lonely. The lost and the forgotten.” —Jordan Sarah Weatherhead

Rusty’s Electric Dreams is a weekly inbox zine by Rusty Blazenhoff. These personally curated missives are beacons to signal and celebrate the global tribe of weird, wonderful, and “different” people (“the Others“). Some of us identify as the “black sheep.”
